An update on the kids

A long overdue update on a couple of kids

Another thing to love about the warmer weather : suddenly all the plants on my balcony that looked like they were on the verge of death during Winter, have sprung to life. Can’t wait to have.. erm.. a tomato, snow pea, and spring onion salad!

Ooh little vegetable babies-very cute! Our balcony is too windy to grow anything so I’m stuck with a windowsill 🙁

Our communal basil is growing much to everyone’s surprise, nothing else seemed to last though 🙁

That’s funny, now that the weather is cooler here, 85F compared to over 100F all summer, my tomatoes are going crazy too. I barely had 3 all summer and now there are about a dozen kids on the vine! Finally! The lettuce however has gone blah! Enjoy your kids!!

Sadly, mine are a different story. No more blossoms, no more good looking veggies…they’re hunkering down for that oh-so-cold Florida winter (lol, my plants need to toughen up!).
