Lucky B got to go to Singapore for work last week. He took these photos. I love the One Price Store – reminds me of $2 shops here in Sydney – and the “Big Lost” special at the Ah Meng Cafe.

I was in Singapore a few years ago for work too. A good place for some spicy food! Though I did also need to eat some versions of raw fish to be polite that I could have done without!

I’m kicking myself now, that I didn’t tag along. Could certainly have done with a week’s worth of holidays in a different country! B says that food was really cheap there – that Ah Meng Cafe special reads $35 for 4 people.. plus all that other freebies listed including “two hot desserts”!
