These sound very much like the ANZAC biscuits I make using a recipe from a friend who lives in Australia & was born and raised in Albany in Southwest Australia. Every time I make them they get scarfed down immediately. I say make them often!

mmh… a chewy, oaty biscuit gets my vote any time! I hope you can also eat them outside the 25th of april? i might just make some for a tea party on the weekend…
